Modular drilling system with 2 NC-controlled axes able to solve all problem of drilling, threading and small milling operations on long and heavy parts.

Modules of 2000, 4000 or 6000 mm can be connected to the basic models FCN 4000 M and 6000 M complete of a motor-driven worktable with a loading capacity of 850 kg/m.

Linearity movement and accuracy are ensured by linear guide ways with pre-loaded rollers and brushless motor controlled by a digital driving units with a resolution of 0,01 mm and accuracy of ± 0,025 mm/m.

The machine is based on 2 axes CNC system continuously managed which allows linear and circular interpolations. A personal computer acts as an operator interface allowing a manual axes positioning with a full automation working cycle, showing to the operator all the relevant information (as an example tools replacements, cutting data, …) directly on the display located on the working area. The program is made using a standard ISO machine tools language.

Moreover it’s possible to realize the programs on an external PC not connected to the FCN using a USB port to transfer the data.

The efficiency and the reduced operating costs of FCN series represent the new goal of perforation workings, thread and small milling on long and heavy parts.
